The nest is far too high in the sycamore tree for me to photograph.
Meanwhile, both parents have been devotedly taking care of their brood by collecting food.
Because I don't have any bird feeders to attract birds, all of my photos are of birds that are just living their life in the wild. Several different birds are nesting in our trees, but they can be pretty elusive. It's a treat when one sometimes comes close enough and sits briefly for a photo... plus, when I also have a camera in my hand at that time.
Photographing birds in the wild can often be a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Wild birds have no set timing in what they do and when they'll do it. In this area, birds also seem to spook easily if not habituated. Our next-door neighbors (a distance away) somewhat habituate them with bird baths and multiple feeders. However, we don't because putting out food and water will attract raptors as well as songbirds: https://pbase.com/britestar/image/170911759
