The ninth hole of our Coyote Course at 110 deg.
Pretty hot, with an approaching Monsoon storm, which ended up on the other side of the Santa Rita Mountains seen in the distance.
Yes, the course has large containers of water on the course, probably 3 as I recall. However, most of bring what we need.
There is one ball washer on every hole.
One one of the courses there is even an ice dispenser along with the water and a bathroom.
I have a cart which has a small ball wash and a ice/cooler on it. Most of us do.
I have played in this temp, though not this year. The secret is a lot of liquid - I drink about 72-80 ozs of fluid for a round. Most of it water, the middle 18 oz is Gatorade.
You don't need to visit the bathrooms either - it just passes right through your skin.
110F, don’t think I’d be out there either. While I enjoy golf it’s not worth a heat stroke. Wait did I just say “I enjoy golf”? What a load of crap, I can’t hit a ball for Jack. I’ve long said I can throw a ball further than I can hit one and I can’t throw one very far. Realistically if I was on your team you’d dump me at the 1st water hazard, put the pedal to the metal and speed off in the cart.
