Atlas C40-8 being converted to a C39-8E.
Major modifications include replacing fuel tank and air reservoirs with the C39-8 style fuel tank (tank without notch in engineer's side and reservoirs at each end of tank) and replacement of the dynamic brake cab with one from a B40-8 with air intakes on roof instead of on the hood side.
At this point only the B40-8 dynamic cab has been installed. The new fuel tank and reservoirs are being 3D printed from my own designs.
