I've joined a book club affiliated to the local arts centre
Really enjoying this book by Dervla Murphy of her journey by bicycle across
Europe, Persia (as it was then), Afganhistan to India in 1963.
It was the first of many cycling journeys and books by this formidable woman who lived in Lismore, Co Waterford and who died last year.
