Doe Duo

Approaching the two year anniversary of the beaver dam breach and the transformation of the bog to its natural state.
The waterfowl have relocated while the beaver have retreated to smaller ponds upstream.
Where once the moose browsed on pond lillies, the deer now browse on greenery.
I believe that's a Mama Doe on the right with her yearling.

The evolution of an ecosystem, and fascinating to see and read about it. The deer are of course, beautifully captured. V

the transformed bog offers a different habitat, and the cast of characters also evolves, as you show here...one can imagine repeated cycles at varying intervals, each serving alternate interests..
