I have been fascinated by this hotel since I first saw it from a distance 25 years ago. Gotta have one of the all-time best views. It was previously called - aptly - The Vista Palace. Now it's The Maybourne Riviera. Would staying there break the spell?

Not much bargain lodging in that area. We were happy about what we paid for a room for three in one of the hotels that one overlooks. Dave

Nice indeed. Did you check the rates? Wait until September, when the most basic rooms drop to "only" 1600 Euros.
