Northern Bald Ibis (Geronticus eremita) was extinct in Europe for about 400 years. Now there are efforts to introduce this bird to the wild again. The bird in this picture was, together with its partner, introduced to a protected wildlife habitat near Lake Constance in southern Germany. From there the birds moved to the Zurich area near the airport and built a nest at a windowsill of a building of a motorcycle dealer.
