This damselfly stumped me at first - the pale green or yellow thorax had me thinking Rainbow Bluet, but the eyes were that of a forktail, and the blue spots at the end of the abdomen were wrong.
It is a female andromorph, a female that has the colouration of the male instead of the normal bright orange. These are quite rare and are not seen very often, but I was lucky and found two here at the ponds!
