13 Field of Dreams

.
Summer time...and the living is easy (when you make your own pizza...yes I make it crunchy by design, 25 minutes at 460 and an internal temp 225 degrees...all excessive but I put a lot of stuff on my homemade pizza, needs some good cookin`)

PS: this was taken after I patted the pizza down with a couple of paper towels for oil removal...I'm the only person I know that cooks beautiful Pizza but then does grease removal before serving...lol

PPS: I should not apologize for giving good advice...with most Italian food, it is best to hit it with a good absorbent paper towel before serving.

>>>hand held as a lark, but with mirror lock up...to cut down any vibrations...should not have worked at 1/20 sec, 67mm f9

Mushrooms probably don't take the high long heat as well.
Try adding them 1/2 way through the bake.

Shhhhh, the pepperoni is turkey pepperoni, but don't let anyone know and they will never find out. LOL... Most of the yellow in this image is an entire sweet pepper, the red sweet pepper stands out reasonably well as does the tomato, though the mushrooms seem to have fallen to the background. This monstrosity, LOL, is largely a vegetable feast. traveller

Looks delicious. I'll pretend that the pepperoni is vegan (I regularly use vegan pepperoni on my pizzas). :) As for the grease removal, that's always a good idea (except with heavy machinery). I like my pizza as crispy as possible. I was first introduced to pizza when I was 14 in Marseilles. I was staying with a French family, who bought pizza twice a week from a food cart. It was authentic Neapolitan pizza. Still the best pizza I've ever had. Very thin crust and very crispy. I could never understand the New York obsession with gallons of grease on their pizza. And as for Chicago deep dish "pizza", that's basically just a heart attack waiting to happen. Remember the old SNL sketch with football fans sitting around pounding their chests whenever they heart attacks? Pretty accurate, really.

The sniper knows well the softest touch,
but he had little chance for the jungles were
dark and deep
and surprisingly cold
misty wet with the deepest green to suck up
and devour
any careless man's soul
And he was,
if anything at all
a careless and dissolute man,
so smile and guess our hero's
fate
he is yours to make
amen

I don’t know, we’ve seen Big T shoot at dry low shutter speeds many times before and they almost always look impressively good. The man knows slow speed shutter photography. We do Poppa Murphys also. Paul

Very appealing , at least to me.
I have used paper towels as well on some things - not homemade pizza, unless you count a loaded up Papa Murphy's.

Re shooting details - I am amazed at 1/20 sec hand held.
