Train station, casino, Adelaide, SA

Adelaide was a pleasant enough city, but what I always associate with our visit there was news of the Challenger space shuttle breaking apart over the Atlantic and killing all seven on board, on January 28, 1986. I remember seeing it on television in our hotel room and being stunned at the tragic event.

A fine shot of this part of Adelaide. Like the Kennedy Assassination is some one always remembers where they were at the time.

It looks so unusual to see all these cars parked from the 80's Helen.V

It is interesting how a place, location or what one was doing, can be forever associated with a shocking event, such as the one mentioned. V

Strange how some events are so ... out of this world, unsuspected, that we remember exactly what we were doing at that moment ... JFK, When John Lennon was killed, I was on the beach in Puerto Vallarta (Mexico) etc.

That was a horrible day, not surprised that you remember where you were.
This looks like a good sized train station.
