Now, it is two days later. We spent the day in between to go to Jedediah Smith and Praire Creek Redwood Parks (they will be in my next gallery). Here, we are in the Rockefeller Forest area of Humboldt State Park, with sunlit redwood leaves in front of a pair of redwoods. Note, there are a couple of loop trails in the Rockefeller Forest area. The first one we went to was a little farther west than the other. However, the "seasonal bridges" over the South Fork Eel River had not been installed yet, so we went back about a mile and did the "Rockefeller Loop Trail" there.
