We drove up north to Oceanside first thing to see the Mission San Luis Rey de Francia. It was interesting. Ginny added another stamp to her California Missions passport book. There are 21 of them. Next stop was Balboa Park in San Diego. Parking was a pain. We wandered around and went to the History Museum and the Photography Museum. Then it was to Coronado Island to visit the famous Hotel del Coronado. We walked around both inside and outside. You gotta have tons of dough to stay there.
