The Roundhouse at the Midwest Railway Preservation Society (MRPS) on West 3rd Street was originally used for maintenance on steam locomotives and dates back to the early 1900s. The roof partially caved in 2003. It is currently jointly owned by the MRPS and CSX railroad.
