Arta is an agricultural little town (ca. 6000 inhabitants) in the north-easter end of Mallorca island.
The streets are narrow and steep, the town located at the foot of the hill, dominated by the medieval fortress and pilgrimage church of Sant Salvador at the top.

The walls could use a little TLC, but the shutters and doors look new and, I suspect, the colours were carefully and collaboratively planned.
