The Most Happy Fella

Fred Loesser - 1956

While I was going through and trying to clean up lightroom this past weekend I came across this oldie.
I never posed it because at the time I didn’t think it was a very good photo.
Funny how things change.
My grandson is in college and Tug is no longer with us.
When I put the photo in my AI program I really liked what it came up with.
Such a typical Tug move, he loved the kids and always wanted to be right with them.
Never mind I was trying to take a photo of the kids!
Tug wasn’t even a year old in this shot.
I can tell because the little pink spot in his nose filled in by his first birthday.

C’est superbe et j’aime l’expression du chien.

"Me, me, me" his expression seems to be saying. "Forget about the kid and pay attention to me!" V.

Interesting how our idea of a 'great photo' changes - especially as we see the deeper expressiveness of the subjects. A fantastic portrait of Tug.

that brown-eyed handsome man, always a welcome sight...Tug's trailing hair suggests the dynamism he so often showed..V

Wonderful keeper, a life of showing you his love every day....interesting to imagine what a human would be like if we also went from birth to old age in only 15 years, would we make each day count more, would we treat each other more kindly, or more aggressively or just live as we do when we think we have 80 or 90 years ?

Looks like Tug dominates the picture well with this beautiful head shot.
