UBC Botanical Garden

a rare visit to this garden revealed lots of plants in bloom...more interesting though was a horse sculpture fashioned from scrap wood by American artist Deborah Butterfield

Very cool how the eye sees the creator's vision in their puzzle placements.

I was going to say very dinosaur like. Great POV to give the sense it is turning its head. V

I thought maybe it was meant to be a predatory dinosaur.

What a great complex statue. So many ways to photograph this. You chose a fine vantage point to maximize the horse characteristics. "V"

Now that is very interesting! I would have assumed it was some kind of dinosaur if you hadn't said it was a horse.

Very unique sculpture I'd say. Cool angle here as well!
