It is a cherry liqueur served in a small chocolate cup that is eaten after the liqueur is drunk. The shots are served for a little more than a Euro. Little stalls serving Ginja can be seen all along the walkway. Basically, you can walk from store to store taking Ginja shots as you go along. I did not try it.
