Cool 60° day with intermittent rain and a wind; so, I'm drinking a hot tea while sitting on our open/covered back porch watching our backyard bird feeders.
All of a sudden, I'm hearing a Barred Owl calling from way down the west arm of Lake Frederick. So, I grab the camera & binoculars and drive to an access path close to Crooked Run and hustle down the primitive trail.
He's curious about me, but I'm not going to get any closer as I fear he will take off. I proceeded up the opposite shoreline glancing back - he didn't fly.
I've uploaded four images - see 'previous' three images for the series.
