Didn't know what I was seeing at first, and a fellow passer-by asked if it was a Buick? Well, upon returning home, I discovered this is a unique vehicle. It was the vision of John Dodds and completed here in the UK in 1972. It has a bespoke chassis and body, and the power is provided by a Rolls-Royce Merlin aero engine!

In earlier years, it bore a Rolls Royce radiator grille, but the owner was taken to court for this. However, the official DVLA registration records have this down as a Rolls Royce!

After Mr Dodds died in 2022, it was put up for auction and was sold in March 2023, just a couple of weeks before I took this photo.
