I wanted a chocolate Easter Bunny.
Each year ever since I was a small child, I've always gotten a hollow, chocolate Easter Bunny. It's been a holiday tradition. Part of us never completely grows up. The most difficult thing each year has been when I have to bite into an ear. LOL.
This year, I ended up with a Lindt Easter Basket with 3 Bunnies, 1 white Baby Chick, 5 mini lambs, 5 mini yellow peep peeps, a box of Truffles, a box of Pralines, and a bag of chocolate eggs.
Luckily, the candy will stay good until at least August...
Probably longer: "So many holiday candies are made of milk chocolate. If you come across a piece that’s unopened, it can stay fresh for up to one year." I sure hope!
My favorite chocolate in the world is Belgium chocolate (in Belgium). Hopefully, I will like this Swiss recipe chocolate almost as much. This definitely will be the last chocolate to enter our house until next Christmas. I'm sure a lot of this Easter basket will still be with us after Summer's end. Meanwhile, chocolate and wine go together...

"Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Sprungli AG, more simply known as Lindt, is a Swiss chocolatier founded in 1845. In 2020 they celebrated their 175th anniversary. Lindt is known for their chocolate truffles and chocolate bars among other things. They are based out of Kilchberg, Switzerland where they have a factory and museum. Most people who have had Lindt chocolates think of the round Lindor truffles that seem to melt in your mouth and are filled with a creamy flavor like caramel, sea salt milk chocolate, peppermint, white chocolate, or other well-loved tastes."
