Yup... they think it's spring, despite frozen ground and 4 feet of snow a few feet away.
A little crinkled from pushing its way up through frozen ground and debris from last year's sedum, but right ready to spread its beautiful petals at the first kiss of warmer sunshine.
Gotta love these little beauties - I know I do - and have the greatest admiration for their persistence and bravery.
