Between the deer and the rabbits,
I can only grow flowers on my deck where they can't reach.
They'll eat almost everything else in our yard.

Although deer and rabbits are great to photograph, both critters also carry ticks.
If you look closely, you'll see an engorged tick in the ear of the bunny above.
The other day, he had 3 or 4 attached to each ear. They must have dropped off and are now waiting for another warm-blooded critter to come along to satiate them again.
Life in the wild isn't easy.
