Our trip to Alpharetta was prompted by our grandson having a lead part in a musical called "The Descendants." In case you don't know (I certainly didn't) it is about some progeny of evil Disney characters going to an island with the good characters and becoming good guys. We watched the movie a few weeks ago. If I hadn't done that I would be totally lost. Anyway, the 5th and 6th graders did a wonderful job of putting the show on. We attended both performances and went out to celebrate afterward at their favorite restaurant, RIce and Spice. It was a lot of fun.
