Getting some air time

There were more cormorants than we’ve ever seen at Constitution Gardens the last time we visited. I wonder who will be there the next time we’re there, which will be as soon as the weather improves a bit in DC.

Oh how beautiful cormorants are, but they are voracious fish eaters.
It is not uncommon to find that a pond or a small lake no longer supports other species of picivorous birds because there are no more fish.
This sometimes results in a determination of the generalized aquatic environment and therefore its biocenosis.
