Ginny and I bought a square each in grandson Peyton's Super Bowl Squares Pool which was a fundraiser for his baseball team. The squares were $20 a pop and get you four number pairs for the game. The team keeps half the money and distributes the other half as prizes. Rob's wife Laura ended up winning on the final score and pocketed $500, which is a pretty good deal.
Years ago my son Robert determined that in a football game of four 15 minute quarters that there is only 17 minutes of actual football. The Super Bowl went three and a half hours to bring you those 17 minutes of actual football play.
