Iceland Gull adult
Spreading the wing well for examination of the primary pattern. The extent of the long gray/white tongue-mirrors on the outer two primaries is likely due to intergradation between Thayer's and Kumlien's. Note this bird has a collar of mild streaking to the nape; many basic Thayer's show even bolder streaking forming a hooded effect.
