05 Home is Where the Coffeemaker Is

Boulder, CO

Since getting this machine, I have no desire for fancy expensive coffee from coffee shops. I'm also drinking a lot more espresso than I used to. But I choose to believe the studies that show that this is good for me. This is a 20 shot handheld focus stack, done in camera, and tweaked in Lightroom.

There are six cups and saucers in the set, and some small plates. The pattern is the same on all of them. I only use one at a time (my wife rarely drinks espresso). The double espresso capsules are much better value than the singles. they only cost around 10-15% more, but give you twice as much!

My wife bought me a beautiful little cup that unfortunately is too small for a double. Given the cost of capsules, I doubt I'll be buying many singles. I also still have my Moka Pot.

Is the 2nd cup a duplicate of this one or a different but complementing pattern. Paul

Thanks Dave. The cup is part of a set we got from my parents as a wedding present 34 years ago. It's the perfect size for a double espresso.

Despite a misadventure this morning (forgot to place a mug under the spout -- mess!), I'm very happy with our Nespresso machine. That's a nice, little cup.
