It's a Grand II listed Bridge. I have failed to find out when the original bridge was built but it was partly rebuilt in 1900.
Many of the buildings in Bondleigh were built in the 1600's so there would have been a river crossing at that time.
The River Taw was quite high when I took this photo but nowhere near as high as I have seen it.
