Images that produce an emotional response are often the most interesting, and this is one of the most emotive ones I've captured recently. At first blush there is the youthful exuberance on the right of the frame with the kids jumping into the surf. But on the left side that emotion is tempered by the danger of the giant waves coming ashore. In the end for each of us it is a struggle to determine which emotion wins out as we view the scene.
