William Rodney (son of William Rodney and Lady Alice Ceasar) was born 21 Jun 1637 in Calott Somerset England, and died 06 Jan 1679 in At Sea. He married Rachel.
Notes for William Rodney:
Gentleman; merchant and customs official at Bristol & New York; made a
merchant Venturer at Bristol in 1665, and was a merchant on the ship
Robert of Bristol bound for the Barbados in 1667. A resident of New York
City on 28 January 1674/5 and was a Royal Prosecutor there by July 1675
and Surveyor of the Customs by July 1675. Whlle he served as a colonial
official in New York, his family evidently remained in Bristol.
