This rarely imaged region lies in the Southern constellation of Apus (77 Deg South…)
The dust lanes are IFN (Integrated Flux Nebula) – which are thin haze of gas and dust above our Galaxy's plane.
Through it we can see several Galaxies which are Millions of LY further away:
The biggest is IC 4633 (size 4'x3')
Below it the Galaxy IC 4635 (Size 3'x0.7')
and lower is PGC 60085 size 1.6'x0.3' and some smaller ones.
