I found him at a small vegetable market in the back lanes of the old city of Varanasi.
He called after me and asked to take his pic, posing with an intense and proud look into the camera.
Other vendors later told me that he had lost both his parents just a year
and half back when he was 12 and had been running his father's vegetable
shop by himself to take care of his two younger siblings. I would love to go back one day
to give him this pic in print one day.
