The lens was mounted with the Fotodiox Stretch adapter which
has a helicoid. This allows close focusing with old Nikon lenses
which normally do not have a close minimum focusing distance.
The only knock on this adapter is that the lens focus ring and
the adapter helicoid turn in opposite directions when you are
trying to get closer focus.
