Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque of Sheikh Zayed is one of the top and most visited attractions in Abu Dhabi city. The mosque was founded in 2007 after 10 years of construction bearing the name of Sheikh Zayed the founder of the Emirates with the purpose of commemorating it.
Now; The mosque comes on the top of Abu Dhabi city tour itineraries and even the Abu Dhabi layover tours from the airport.
The mosque has free entry and it opens daily from 0800 am to 1000 pm except on Fridays from 0230 pm.
A dress code in which women need to cover from head to legs and men to cover from chest to under knees needs to be followed to be allowed to enter the mosque.
