The Blanes marina is the most southerly of the Costa Brava and the province of Girona. Its facilities are located inside the fishing port, in the bay of Blanes, located between the Sa Palomera Rock and the Santa Ana Point.The port is dominated by the tower of the Sant Joan Castle, on top of a 165 meters high hill that serves as a reference for navigators who are approaching. The access is quite difficult in case of strong winds from South and South-East.Managed by the Blanes Sailing Club (Club de Vela Blanes), founded in 1943, the marina of Blanes has a capacity of 309 moorings for boats up to 24 meters in length and has the necessary services for nautical practice.
