These are one of the most common birds in this part of Costa Rica and love to come visit everyone while they are eating breakfast and look for handouts as well as things they can just grab and fly away with. They even took sugar packets and were smart enough to open them and eat the sugar out of them. I took a lot of images of them and many, like this one, where the bird was so close that with the big lens I brought to breakfast, this is all I could get in the image.
