Hair Salon

Aurora, CO

That features hair braiding as a service. Shot yesterday with my just arrived from England 1980's Carl Zeiss Jena 50mm f1.8 Pancolar. Carl Zeiss Jena was the portion of the company that ended up in East Germany after WWII. The lens is considered one of the gems among vintage lenses.

Ho usato questo obiettivo da ragazzo, montato su una Reflex Exacta, ma non mi mai dato grandi soddisfazioni. Comunque questi esperimenti sono interessanti e divertenti. Complimenti! V

When I was living in NY along Jamaica (1942-55) I met Carl Zeiss. He was a robust old man who went into the Atlantic Ocean in Winter, a mile from our houses. Before he lived there my parents and I walked in the house and saw beautiful old furniture. This was a rich neighborhood. When the Depression started the rich left en masse and it was barren till the '40's. My father bought a huge Summer home for $6000 that wa empty all those years
