Banff NP, Alberta

most towns in the region originated as resource industry camps...however Banff itself, founded late 19th century, was always a tourist town, with hotels and restaurants serving visitors to the Canadian Rockies

the view of Banff and the Bow Valley is from Mt Norquay, and the large mountain to the left is Mt Rundle

an impressive mountain range, some peaks are already covered with snow, a beautiful patchwork of culture in the valley, the inhabitants of the small town are privileged to live in such a setting. V
