I got this hibiscus in early May from Lowe's "Home Improvement" store. Not in flower at the time, it was labeled as just "Red" and nothing more. So, it's not a fancy variety. In fact, when it bloomed a couple of weeks later, it wasn't even red. To my pleasant surprise, it turned out to be a pretty peach double.
From the very first bloom in mid May until now in mid October, this chain store, mislabeled hibiscus, has bloomed and bloomed and bloomed. There were only 4 days in total during the past 5 months when it didn't have at least one flower in full bloom. Many days it had 8 or 9 new flowers!!!
The flowers aren't giant, but they're not small either. I'd say about 5 or 6 inches in size.
Plus, they're so very pretty. They present themselves with varying, lovely shades of peach.
The bush itself is full and compact. It's a lovely plant all around.

Today will be its last day on this Autumn's deck. Full of buds, I'm bringing it indoors before the predicted, October 17th, killing freeze hits. Today (Saturday), the temperature was in the middle 70's. Monday night, however, is supposed to hit a record setting low of 18 to 22 degrees.
