This is with the tarp turned 90 degrees. (The far end has its pole between the bench and the table)
The tarp was high enough to enter from the center, so I think I liked having the old poles in the center raising the center near my chair and the table. It is sort of made two ridge lines the main higher one and one 90 degrees to it, making it almost flat.
Not sure how well this would work windy rain, but you could lower the sides. In heavy rain parts of the table might get wet enough to spread to the other parts of the table. (That might happen with the other setup in the backend of the table).
If you center the tarp over the table in the prior (turned 90 degrees) then there is no place for the chair.
Even though I could stand up with my head brushing the tarp, I found myself bending over in the morning cooking and packing and my back was getting tired , but my back has been bothering me lately
