Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge

Constructed in 1901-1905 and then modified in 1929 by adding an elevated roadway.
It has been rehabilitated 4 times since but has maintained the overall historic character.

We have several of these over Bayou LaFourche in southeast Louisiana, about the same age, and they still work
