Last visit to Great Smoky Mountains we tried to get to the hike up to Clingman's Dome, but the traffic was so heavy that we didn't even get up to the parking lot before turning around. This time we were smart and headed up there early in the morning. We were rewarded with no traffic and lots of space in the parking lot. Next we went for a hike at Laurel Falls. There is only limited parking there so it was a hassle getting a place. The hike was nice. After a stop at the Visitor Center we headed back to the hotel. Our entertainment this evening was a dinner show called Pirate's Voyage. It was very well done. We had a great time.
