It was a long drive to Pigeon Forge today. We were headed back there to do some things in Great Smoky Mountains National Park that we missed when we visited five years ago. It turns out that Pigeon Forge was mobbed. They were having a car show and there were literally a thousand cars on display along both sides of the Parkway for three miles. Traffic was almost at a standstill. We got to our hotel (finally) after a quick stop at Walmart for some food. Ginny went out to look at the cars and took some photos.
