We saw many of these whitish small crabs flitting across sunset beach in Cape May. They come out at night and are unbelievably fast movers. These crabs could achieve speeds of about 10 miles per hour. This means that the distance it covers compared to its body length (3-5 cm), is greater than that of a cheetah.
