Somos Cuba is, believe it or not, a restaurant, and apparently a pretty good one according to Trip Advisor: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g147271-d8589905-Reviews-Somos_Cuba_Restaurant-Havana_Ciudad_de_la_Habana_Province_Cuba.html. I wish I knew that when I was there. A lot of Cuban restaurants look somewhat past their prime from the outside and are wonderful on the inside. We went to quite a few like that.

I'm always amazed that places like this in other parts of the World seem to be attractive to people, but if same were in the USA they would be closed and condemned

I agree with your description … 20 years ago, many restaurants were clandestine, and hid their entrance...Beautiful picture…!

this place does seem to offer atmosphere and character...a fine shot to illustrate the 'lobby', and a hint of potential delights beyond..
