This summer, our free concerts on the pier were back to 2 nights a week all summer.
I try to go often to get a walk in and check out the band playing, especially when the weather is so nice.
Whenever there is a tribute band, the crowd swells to double or triple its normal size. Usually I can walk right up to where the band is. Not on this day!
There is always police presence and security people. No alcohol allowed but I imagine there are a few smugglers in the crowd.
The band is just behind the blue canopy. The canopy is over a booth for Miller's Children's Hospital which sponsors the concerts.
