Tried my darndest to get an image showing the flashing white tail feathers as this male was very actively displaying the white tail feathers! No luck. I'm thinking of returning with the camera set to video.
So, I did go back to the same area - - and - - sure enough, he was still there! I managed a couple of very short videos (my 1st attempt at taking videos with a 600mm lens setup on this Nikon Z 6-II camera) - I'm working on learning the free video editor from Nikon.
