Restoration

Dundalk's historic town centre has been getting a makeover thanks to an initiative supported by local businesses.
Alongside the annual mural festival, the facades buildings on the main streets have been painted in vibrant colours, highlighting their architectural features.
This shop, which dates made to the mid 19th century, is the latest to get a facelift.
The work included replacing the central of the three urns as the original one had crashed onto the street below over 20 years ago - miraculously no one was injured.
The mural on the side depicts the Coulter Poppy, named after the famed botanist Thomas Coulter who was born in Dundalk
