It's been blooming more yellow all Summer. However today, I was greeted by the pretty, vivid orange color that this hibiscus hybrid is really supposed to be.
From the hybridizer: "As hot as a chili pepper, 'Venetian Pepper' blooms with 7-8" fiery orange, yellow and red single flowers. It gets its name and its hot colors from parents 'Venetian Brick' and 'Hot Pepper.' Released from HVH in 2010."

This plant is a survivor from last Winter's freeze indoors.
This is my third year of growing it.
