This is a modification of my crockpot oatmeal;
More sweet and hearty, and packed with apples, nuts, and seeds.
Place in Crockpot:
1/2 Cup Steel Cut Oates for every 4 C water or non-dairy milk
4 Sliced medium sized Apples (increase if using more Oats)
1/4 Cup chopped Almonds
1/4 Cup chopped Sunflower Seeds
1/4 Cup chopped Pumpkin Seeds
1 TBSP Flaxseed
1 TBSP Chia Seeds
1 Cup Raisins or Dried Cranberries
1/4 Cup Coconut Flakes
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Ginger
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar (optional)
1 TBSP Lemon Juice
Cook in Slow Cooker on HIGH 3 hours
Pour contents of crockpot into greased baking dish
Bake at 375F degrees for 30 minutes
Maple Syrup can be drizzled on top along with some extra Coconut Flakes
